44 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 8,581, the health Ministry announced.
In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 373,776 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 212, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 7,600.
The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 33.60% in Casablanca-Settat, 18.09% in Marrakech-Safi, 14.80% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 12.06% in Fez-Meknes, 6.83% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 9.16% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.28% in the Oriental region, 1.48% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.05% in Souss Massa, 0.54% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.06% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.06 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
