The President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent King Mohammed VI a cable, «congratulating him on the successful surgery he underwent recently», Khaleej Times reports.

«Sheikh Khalifa wished the Moroccan King continued good health and asked God Almighty to expedite his recovery and return him to good health and wellness», wrote the same source.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent the sovereign similar cables.

For the record, King Mohammed VI successfully underwent a medical intervention, Sunday, at the royal palace clinic in Rabat, his medical team said.

The sovereign suffered a heart rhythm disorder known as atrial flutter but his heart was healthy. The doctors recommended a complementary radiofrequency ablation for the arrhythmia, which took place on Sunday, June 14, at the clinic of the Royal Palace in Rabat.

The non-surgical procedure was successful, like the previous intervention carried out on February 26, 2018 in Paris, which resulted in the restoration of normal heart rhythm.
