Another group of Moroccans stranded in Turkey due to the coronavirus was repatriated on Thursday evening. 103 people arrived at the Saniat R’mel airport in Tetouan on a Royal Air Maroc flight.
Upon arrival, the returnees boarded buses and left for a compulsory quarantine at the coast of Tamuda Bay hotel in the M’diq-Fnideq province. They also underwent coronavirus tests.
This is the repatriation of the second group of Moroccans stranded in Turkey due to the pandemic. On Wednesday evening, 313 people were brought home via three planes. These repatriation operations will continue in the coming days.
The operation was carried out in collaboration with the National Airports Office, local authorities, National Security, Royal Gendarmerie, customs and medical officials.
