President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulates King Mohammed VI on successful surgery

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sent King Mohammed VI, Thursday, a cable to congratulate him on the successful surgery he underwent, Egyptian newspaper Egypt Today reports.

«It is my pleasure to express to you my sincere congratulations on the occasion of your recovery by the success of the surgery. I pray to God that he provides you with full health and wellness and guide your steps toward continuing your wise leadership of the Kingdom of Morocco, to achieve further growth, development and prosperity», the cable read.

King Mohammed VI underwent on Sunday a medical intervention to treat a heart rhythm disorder known as atrial flutter.
The sovereign underwent a similar intervention two years ago in Paris.

Several other Arab leaders wished King Mohammed VI a speedy recovery and congratulated him on the surgery, including Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune.
