The Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water announced on Monday the gradual resumption of activities of passenger public transportation using buses and tourism transport, while respecting the specificities of zones (zones of restriction easing 1 and 2) and this as of Thursday, June 25.

The ministry requires, for the lines of transport connecting two points in zone 1, and the lines of transport coming from zone 1 bound for zone 2, to keep the initial schedules of each point of the said route in the authorization form or in the line route form.

In the event that the authorization route passes through transit points in zone 2, boarding from these points is not possible except for persons with a professional authorization or an exceptional authorization, issued by the local authorities for imperative reasons of movement outside the territory of the prefecture or the province within which these points fall.

For transportation lines from zone 2, in addition to the need for professionals to keep the initial schedules for each point of the said travel in the authorization form or in the travel form, passengers must have a professional authorization or an exceptional authorization, issued by the local authorities for compelling reasons to travel outside the territory of the prefecture or the province, when departing or boarding travelers from points falling within this area.

With regard to tourism transportation, the Ministry provides the same requirements in terms of initialing, signing and archiving of the specifications relating to the public road transport companies, as well as its availability on board the vehicle for inspection.
