Coronavirus : 372 new cases in Morocco, mainly in Tangier, Kenitra and Laayoune

372 new coronavirus cases were recorded between Wednesday night and Thursday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 11,279, the Ministry of Health announced.

The number of recoveries rose to 8,488 with 20 new ones, while that of deaths stands at 216 cases, the ministry said. 

The region of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima recorded 132 new cases, while 128 confirmed cases were recorded in the region of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra. Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra recorded 43 cases.

Marrakech-Safi and Casablanca-Settat registered 34 and 23 new cases respectively, while 7 new cases reported in Fes-Meknes and 5 in Beni Mellal-Khenifra.
