333 new coronavirus cases were recorded in the past 24 hours in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections to 12,969.
64 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,090, with a recovery rate of 70.1%.
One death was recorded during the same period, bringing the Covid-19 death toll to 229.
Morocco has 3,650 active cases under treatment, including 19 that are in a severe or critical condition.
125 of the new cases were recorded in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma region : 81 in Tangier, 29 in Larache, 13 in Tetouan, two cases in Al Fahs Anjra and one case in Ouazzane.
64 cases were discovered in Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra, all in the city of Laayoune. The Fez-Meknes region has 60 new cases, including 59 in Fez and one case in Meknes.
In Casablanca-Settat, 48 new cases were identified : 40 in Casablanca, 6 in Mohammedia, one case in Mediouna and one case in Berrchid. 25 new cases were recorded in Marrakech-Safi : 16 in Marrakech, 5 in Kelaat Sraghna and 4 cases in the province of El Haouz.
In the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 6 new cases were recorded : 4 in Kénitra, one case in Sidi Kacem and one case in Salé.
The Guelmin-Oued Noun region, for its part, has 5 new cases, including 4 in Guelmim and one case in Tan Tan.
