The Wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, Mohamed Mhidia, informed companies operating in the industrial areas of Tangier about the ban on leaving the city during Eid Al Adha.
«He formally prohibited these companies from issuing travel authorizations for empoyees during said period (the heads of companies are responsible for respecting this ban)», the president of the industrial area of Tangier Ammar Chammaa reported in a press release.
Following a meeting held Wednesday, the Wali of the region indicated that «it was also requested to stress the need of wearing a mask, as well as respecting social distancing measures».
The same source announced that masks will be provided for free by Amendis (upon accessing their branches' premises) on ALSA buses (upon boarding the transportation facilities) to anyone not wearing a mask.
«Companies are also required to offer their workers masks to cover the needs of their families», the statement concluded.
