Coronavirus : Morocco records 1,325 new cases, 32 deaths in 24 hours

1,325 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 47,638.

1,230 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 32,806.

32 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 775. These deaths were recorded in Marrakech (9), Casablanca (8), Fez (4), Sefrou (1), Taza (1), Meknes (1), Agadir (1), Tanger (1), Tetouan (1 ), Ouazane (1), Midelt  (1), Ouarzazate (1) Kheribga (1) and Salé (1).

Morocco has now 14,057, active cases. Most of them are in the Casablanca-Settat region (4,999), Marrakesh-Safi (2,463), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (1,447), Fez-Meknes (1,303), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (1,213) Beni Mellal-Khenifra (1,092). 194 of these cases are in a serious or critical condition, including 54 on ventilators.

Most of the new cases were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, with 301 new infections. 262 other cases were recorded in the Fez-Meknes region. 240 infections were confirmed in the Marrakech-Safi region.

154 coronavirus cases were recorded in the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region. 101 cases were recorded in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region. 95 other cases were confirmed in Rabat-Sale-Kenitra and 82 were discovered in Daraa-Tafilalet.

41 cases were recorded in Souss-Massa, 30 in the Oriental region and 9 in the Dakhla-Oued Dahab. 8 cases were recorded in Guelmim-Oued Noun and 2 others in Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region.
