41 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,755. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (11), Marrakech (7), Tétouan (3), Kelaa des Sraghna (2), Agadir (2), Kénitra (1), Rabat (1), Khemisset (1), Rhamna ( 1), Essaouira (1), Inzegane Ait Melloul (1), Taroudant (1), Fqih Bensaleh (1), Khénifra (1), Tanger-Assilah (1), M'diq-Fnideq (1), Oujda (1 ), Taza (1), Meknes (1), Sefrou (1) and Laâyoune (1).
The country has 18,819 active cases, including 264 in critical conditions. 41 of them are on ventilators.
793 cases in Casablanca, 184 in Marrakech and 161 infections in Salé
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,101 cases : 793 in Casablanca, 77 in Mohammedia, 75 in Settat, 65 in Berrechid, 61 in Nouaceur, 17 in El Jadida, 11 in Mediouna, one case in Benslimane and one case in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra with 401 new infections : 161 in Salé, 101 in Kénitra, 55 in Rabat, 36 in Skhirat-Témara, 33 in Sidi Kacem, 14 in Khemisset and one case in Sidi Slimane.
Marrakech-Safi has 295 new infections : 184 in Marrakech, 62 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 14 cases in Rhamna province, 13 in Safi, 10 in Essaouira, 7 in Youssoufia, 3 cases in El Haouz province and two cases in Chichaoua. 169 new cases were recorded in Souss-Massa : 70 in Agadir Ida-Ou-Tanane, 68 in Inzegane-Ait-Melloul, 23 in Chtouka Ait Baha, 5 in Taroudant and 5 cases in Tata.
Drâa-Tafilalet follows with 162 new infections : 69 in Errachidia, 40 in Tinghir, 31 in Midelt, 12 in Ouarzazate and 10 in Zagora. Beni Mellal-Khénifra, for its part, recorded 151 new cases : 64 in Khouribga, 33 in Fqih Bensaleh, 24 in Beni Mellal, 20 cases in Khénifra and 10 cases in Azilal.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 116 new cases : 45 in Tetouan, 28 in Tanger-Assilah, 17 in M'diq-Fnideq, 13 in Al Hoceima, 11 in Larache, one case in Chefchaouen and another in Ouazzane.
In the Oriental region, 115 new infections were confirmed : 65 in Oujda-Angad, 14 in Jerada, 8 in Taourirt, 7 in Guercif, 7 in Berkane, 6 in Nador, 4 in Figuig and 4 in Driouch.
There are also 109 new confirmed cases in the Fès-Meknes region : 28 in Fez, 26 in Taza, 22 in Meknes, 20 in Sefrou, 12 in Taounate and one case in Ifrane.
In the southern provinces, 70 new cases were recorded in Laâyoune (Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra), 62 cases in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab) and 9 new infections in Guelmim- Oued Noun (5 in Guelmim and 4 in Tan Tan).
