2,470 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 123,653.
2,462 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 102,715.
42 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,194. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (14), Marrakech (5), Khouribga (3), Khénifra (2), Beni Mellal (2), El Haouz (2), Tinghir (2), Errachidia (2), Agadir ( 1), Azilal (1), Fqih Bensaleh (1), Figuig (1), Guercif (1), Oujda (1), Youssoufia (1), Sidi Slimane (1), Benslimane (1), and Salé (1) .
The country has 18,744 active cases, including 432 in critical conditions. 45 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,303 cases: 1,031 in Casablanca, 73 in Nouaceur, 55 in Mohammedia, 53 in Berrechid, 39 in El Jadida, 34 in Settat, 10 in Mediouna, 5 in Benslimane and 3 cases in Sidi Bennour.
Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra with 232 new infections: 102 in Skhirat-Témara, 45 in Kénitra, 30 in Khemisset, 21 in Rabat, 18 in Salé, 11 in Sidi Slimane and 5 cases in Sidi Kacem.
Drâa-Tafilalet follows with 169 new cases: 68 in Errachidia, 45 in Tinghir, 23 in Ouarzazate, 19 in Midelt and 14 in Zagora.
165 new infections were confirmed in Marrakech-Safi: 125 in Marrakech, 12 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 7 in Rhamna, 7 in Youssoufia, 5 in El Haouz, 5 in Essaouira and 4 cases in Chichaoua.
The Oriental region recorded 160 new cases: 77 in Oujda-Angad, 38 in Nador, 17 in Jerada, 10 in Berkane, 7 in Guercif, 6 in Figuig, 4 in Taourirt and one case in Driouch.
The Beni Mellal-Khénifra region confirmed 124 new infections: 44 in Beni Mellal, 32 in Khouribga, 25 in Fqih Bensaleh, 20 in Azilal and 3 cases in Khénifra.
113 new cases were confirmed in Souss-Massa: 74 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 27 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 8 in Taroudant, 3 in Chtouka Ait Baha and one case in Tiznit.
79 cases were recorded in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (26 in Tétouan, 21 in Tanger-Assilah, 19 in Larache, 7 in Al Hoceima, 3 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 2 in Ouazzane and one case in Chefchaouen) and 56 infections in Fès-Meknes (19 in Fès, 15 in Meknes, 11 in Taza, 5 in Sefrou, 4 in El Hajeb and two in Taounate).
In the southern provinces, Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 45 new cases (24 in Guelmim, 11 in Sidi Ifni and 10 cases in Assa Zag), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra 17 cases (all in Laâyoune), and 7 were recorded in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
