1,423 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 134,695.
2,300 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 113,336.
39 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,369. 17 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 4 in Marrakech-Safi, 4 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 3 in the Oriental, 3 in Fès-Meknès, 3 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 3 in Souss-Massa, 1 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra and 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 18,990 active cases, including 457 in critical conditions. 45 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 674 cases: 410 in Casablanca, 80 in El Jadida, 75 in Settat46 in Berrechid, 21 in Nouaceur, 20 in Mohammedia, 16 in Médiouna, 4 in Sidi Bennour and 2 in Benslimane. Next is Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 189 cases: 43 in Sidi Slimane, 37 in Sale, 35 in Kénitra, 28 in Rabat, 20 in Khémisset, 17 in Sidi Kacem and 9 in Skhirat-Témara.
Marrakech-Safi confirmed 174 new cases: 66 in Marrakech, 59 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 22 in Essaouira, 13 in Rehamna, 12 in Youssoufia, and 2 in Safi. The Oriental region follows with 97 cases: 59 in Oujda-Angad, 12 in Taourirt, 8 in Jerada, 7 in Berkane, 7 in Nador, 3 in Guercif and 1 in Driouch.
In Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 91 cases have been confirmed: 28 in Azilal, 21 in Khénifra, 20 in Béni Mellal, 14 in Fqih Ben Salah and 8 in Khouribga. Fès-Meknes counted 87: 41 in Ifrane, 15 in Meknes, 14 in Fès, 10 in Taza, 6 in Sefrou and 1 in Moulay Yacoub. The Drâa-Tafilalet region recorded 46 new infections: 21 in Midelt, 17 in Tinghir and 8 in Errachidia.
Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 27 infections in 24 hours: 10 in Larache, 8 in Tanger-Assilah, 7 in Tetouan, 1 in M'diq-Fnideq and 1 in Ouezzane. Souss-Massa has 19 cases: 18 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane and 1 in Inezgane Aït Melloul.
Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab confirmed 19 new cases: 17 Oued Ed Dahab and 2 in Aousserd.
