The Morocco International Meeting brought two days of intense racing, standout performances from both Moroccan and international jockeys, and a strong showing from amateur female riders. This 11th edition featured 14 races, eight of them international, enhancing Morocco’s growing stature as a reference in global horse racing.
The Casa-Anfa racecourse hosted the closing day of the African Grand Prix, featuring eight races, including the Grand Prix d’Afrique, won by Zouhair Madihi. The first two days of the event were devoted to exhibitions for professionals and seminars on the development of African lotteries.
The 4th edition of the Grand Prix d’Afrique opened Thursday at Bouskoura’s Cité du Cheval, after three editions in Marrakech. Organized by SOREC and ALA, the three-day event features exhibitions, seminars on African lotteries, and a final race day at the Casa-Anfa Racecourse.
The third edition of the Grand Prix d'Afrique concluded with a series of prestigious horse races at the Marrakech Hippodrome, where Moroccan jockeys claimed multiple victories, including highlights like the Prix d’Afrique and Écoles des Jockeys. Organized by SOREC and the African Lotteries Association, the event celebrated African collaboration in horse racing and drew delegations from 12 countries.
