Moroccan doctors : From public training to private practice

Cohorts of doctors graduate each year from public medical schools funded by the state, yet the main beneficiaries of their training are not public hospitals but private clinics. As a result, public investment in medical education has effectively become a tool that strengthens the private sector instead of reinforcing the public healthcare system.
