Meteorites, found in Morocco in 2011 and 2012, have showed evidence of water on Mars 4.4 billion years ago. They showed signs of oxidation which could have occurred as water formed, according to scientists.
Since 1937, Morocco has been a home to meteorites. Coming from outer space, the rocks made of the North African kingdom a number one destination for scientists and meteorite sellers and collectors.
