Terfass or «desert truffle», an underexploited source of wealth in Morocco

Better known as «Terfass», the «truffles of the desert» are victims of the mistrust of European consumers and a misunderstanding surrounding their name. Also known as «sand truffles», Moroccan «terfass» exports could reveal a lever of development for some regions' rural populations.
