Against all odds, the Minister of General Affairs criticized last week the decision of the anti-competitive practices’ council, which disapproved of Lahcen Daoudi’s plan to cap fuel prices. Commenting on that, oil companies in Morocco said that «they still don’t understand» the measure.
Morocco is to start capping fuel prices in March, General Affairs Minister Lahcen Daoudi said in a video published by his party’s website. The decision comes after it was announced in 2018.
On Wednesday, the House of Representatives passed bill 44.18 on compulsory military service. The latter was amended after it was first suggested in August.
In December 1955, Morocco had its first government led by M'Barek Bekkay. The latter led another government before his cabinet was replaced by the one of Ahmed Balafrej.
Human Rights Minister Mustapha Ramid couldn’t make it to the government council held on Thursday once again. Asked by reporters, the Government Spokesperson Mustapha El Khalfi refused to comment on Ramid’s absence.
