Morocco was ranked among the top 30 source countries for counterfeit goods in 2020, according to a joint OECD-EUIPO report. The report also highlights Morocco as a destination for fake cosmetics from China and as a minor source of counterfeit imports into the EU.

Moroccan exports, however, may benefit from shifting U.S. trade dynamics, gaining ground as Chinese and Indian goods face higher tariffs.
