For the first time in Morocco’s history, religious minorities in Rabat will gather to demand their right of practicing their faith freely. A courageous step that comes a few months after, the National Human Rights Council helped pave the way.
Morocco has significantly improved its status according to the 2017 Trafficking in Persons Report issued by the U.S. Department of State. The survey indicates that the kingdom has demonstrated increasing efforts in monitoring and combating human trafficking, yet it still has to strengthen and boost its endeavors.
