Morocco has been ranked 130th globally out of 165 countries in the Human Freedom Index 2024, and ninth in the North Africa and Middle East region.
Morocco's external reputation improved slightly in 2024 but remains average, with a reputation index of 50 out of 100 points. A study highlights strong domestic support, with Moroccans scoring their country's reputation at 64.8 out of 100, marking the highest level since 2015.
Morocco maintained its 92nd position in the 2024 Global Rule of Law Index with a score of 0.48, unchanged from last year. The country ranked 6th in the Arab world, with Denmark, Norway, and Finland leading the global rankings.
The World Happiness Report presents annually, on the International Day of Happiness, celebrated on March 20, a ranking of the happiest countries in the world. For this sixth edition, Morocco loses a place.
