The Moroccan consulate in Valencia confirmed that seven Moroccans have died and eight remain missing due to the floods in Spain’s Valencia province. Morocco has sent rescue teams and equipment to assist in relief efforts, which have been positively received by both the Moroccan community and Spanish authorities.
The «Appeal of Tata» Committee has filed a complaint against the Moroccan State with the Administrative Court, in order to classify the Tata floods as a natural disaster and thus allow the victims to benefit from compensation for the consequences of the floods that caused heavy damage.
