Israel's Prime Minister is reportedly planning to bring Arab officials together for a summit, to be held after the March 2 election. The meeting is expected to take place in Cairo but without the presence of Morocco.
For now, Morocco is not part of Donald Trump’s «Middle East Strategic Alliance». Establishing the new alliance with the participation of several nations would bring Rabat closer to the current administration and help it benefit for the gulf countries' financial contributions.
Morocco has been ranked 5th among the most attractive Arab countries for foreign direct investment. The Annual report issued by the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation considers Morocco as an appealing destination for foreign investors in the Maghreb region.
