10.36.وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلاَّ ظَنّاً إَنَّ الظَّنَّ لاَ يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئاً إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ

10.36. La plupart d'entre eux s'en tiennent à des conjectures. Mais les conjectures ne sauraient en rien tenir lieu de vérité. Dieu est parfaitement au courant de leur manière d'agir.

10.36 . Most of them follow naught but conjecture . Assuredly conjecture can by no means take the place of truth . Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do .

10.36. Wama yattabiAAu aktharuhum illa thannan inna alththanna la yughnee mina alhaqqi shay-an inna Allaha AAaleemun bima yafAAaloona

10.37.وَمَا كَانَ هَـذَا الْقُرْآنُ أَن يُفْتَرَى مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَـكِن تَصْدِيقَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

10.37. Ce Coran n'est nullement une œuvre apocryphe conçue en dehors de Dieu, mais il vient confirmer les révélations qui l'ont précédé et constituer un clair exposé du Livre émanant, à n'en point douter, du Maître de l'Univers !

10.37 . And this Quran is not such as could ever be invented in despite of Allah ; but it is a confirmation of that which was before it and an exposition of that which is decreed for mankind . Therein is no doubt from the Lord of the Worlds .

10.37. Wama kana hatha alqur-anu an yuftara min dooni Allahi walakin tasdeeqa allathee bayna yadayhi watafseela alkitabi la rayba feehi min rabbi alAAalameena

10.38.أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ قُلْ فَأْتُواْ بِسُورَةٍ مِّثْلِهِ وَادْعُواْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

10.38. S'ils disent : «C'est cet homme qui l'a inventé», réponds-leur : «Composez donc une seule sourate semblable à celles de ce Livre, et faites-vous aider, pour ce faire, de qui vous voudrez, en dehors de Dieu, si vous détenez réellement la Vérité !»

10.38 . Or say they : He hath invented it? Say : Then bring a surah like unto it , and call ( for help ) on all ye can besides Allah , if ye are truthful .

10.38. Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fa/too bisooratin mithlihi waodAAoo mani istataAAtum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena

10.39.بَلْ كَذَّبُواْ بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيطُواْ بِعِلْمِهِ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُ كَذَلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الظَّالِمِينَ

10.39. En réalité, ce qu'ils traitent de mensonge, c'est ce qu'ils ne peuvent pas comprendre et dont l'interprétation ne leur est pas encore parvenue. Ainsi avaient crié au mensonge ceux qui les ont précédés. Mais considère quelle a été la fin des injustes !

10.39 . Nay , but they denied that , the knowledge whereof they could not compass , and whereof the interpretation ( in events ) hath not yet come unto them . Even so did those before them deny . Then see what was the consequence for the wrongdoers!

10.39. Bal kaththaboo bima lam yuheetoo biAAilmihi walamma ya/tihim ta/weeluhu kathalika kaththaba allatheena min qablihim faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu alththalimeena

10.40.وَمِنهُم مَّن يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لاَّ يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُفْسِدِينَ

10.40. Il en est parmi eux qui y croient, et il en est d'autres qui n'y croient point. Ton Seigneur est le mieux Informé de ceux qui sèment le désordre.

10.40 . And of them is he who believeth therein , and of them is he who believeth not therein , and thy Lord is best aware of the corrupters .

10.40. Waminhum man yu/minu bihi waminhum man la yu/minu bihi warabbuka aAAlamu bialmufsideena
