40.46.النَّارُ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا غُدُوّاً وَعَشِيّاً وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ أَدْخِلُوا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ أَشَدَّ الْعَذَابِ

40.46. car ils seront exposés au Feu matin et soir , et le Jour de la Résurrection, il sera ordonné : «Introduisez Pharaon et les siens au fin fond de la Géhenne !»

40.46 . The Fire ; they are exposed to it morning and evening ; and on the day when the Hour upriseth ( it is said ) : Cause Pharaoh ' s folk to enter the most awful doom .

40.46. Alnnaru yuAAradoona AAalayha ghuduwwan waAAashiyyan wayawma taqoomu alssaAAatu adkhiloo ala firAAawna ashadda alAAathabi

40.47.وَإِذْ يَتَحَاجُّونَ فِي النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ الضُّعَفَاء لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعاً فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيباً مِّنَ النَّارِ

40.47. Et au cours de leurs disputes en Enfer, les faibles diront aux superbes de naguère : «Nous vous avons suivis aveuglément sur Terre. Pourriez-vous à présent atténuer tant soit peu le supplice que nous endurons en Enfer?»

40.47 . And when they wrangle in the fire , the weak say unto those who were proud : Lo! we were a following unto you : will ye therefor rid us of a portion of the Fire?

40.47. Wa-ith yatahajjoona fee alnnari fayaqoolu aldduAAafao lillatheena istakbaroo inna kunna lakum tabaAAan fahal antum mughnoona AAanna naseeban mina alnnari

40.48.قَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُلٌّ فِيهَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ حَكَمَ بَيْنَ الْعِبَادِ

40.48. Et les superbes de dire : «Voilà à présent que notre sort est le même, car Dieu a déjà rendu Son verdict entre les hommes.»

40.48 . Those who were proud say : Lo! we are all ( together ) herein . Lo! Allah hath judged between ( His ) slaves .

40.48. Qala allatheena istakbaroo inna kullun feeha inna Allaha qad hakama bayna alAAibadi

40.49.وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ فِي النَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ يُخَفِّفْ عَنَّا يَوْماً مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ

40.49. S'adressant aux gardiens de l'Enfer, les réprouvés leur demanderont : «Priez votre Seigneur d'alléger, ne serait-ce que d'un jour, notre souffrance !»

40.49 . And those in the Fire say unto the guards of hell : Entreat your Lord that He relieve us of a day of the torment .

40.49. Waqala allatheena fee alnnari likhazanati jahannama odAAoo rabbakum yukhaffif AAanna yawman mina alAAathabi

40.50.قَالُوا أَوَلَمْ تَكُ تَأْتِيكُمْ رُسُلُكُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا بَلَى قَالُوا فَادْعُوا وَمَا دُعَاء الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ

40.50. Et les gardiens de leur répondre : «Vos prophètes ne venaient-ils pas vous avertir avec des preuves évidentes?» – «Si», avoueront les damnés. «Alors, priez !», rétorqueront les gardiens. Mais, hélas ! Les prières des damnés ne sont jamais exaucées.

40.50 . They say : Came not your messengers unto you with clear proofs? They say : Yea , verily . They say : Then do ye pray , although the prayer of disbelievers is in vain .

40.50. Qaloo awa lam taku ta/teekum rusulukum bialbayyinati qaloo bala qaloo faodAAoo wama duAAao alkafireena illa fee dalalin
