40.41.وَيَا قَوْمِ مَا لِي أَدْعُوكُمْ إِلَى النَّجَاةِ وَتَدْعُونَنِي إِلَى النَّارِ

40.41. Ô mon peuple ! Qu'ai-je donc à vous convier à assurer votre salut, alors que vous tenez à m'entraîner vers l'Enfer?

40.41 . And , O my people! What aileth me that I call you unto deliverance when ye call me unto the Fire?

40.41. Waya qawmi malee adAAookum ila alnnajati watadAAoonanee ila alnnari

40.42.تَدْعُونَنِي لِأَكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَأُشْرِكَ بِهِ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَأَنَا أَدْعُوكُمْ إِلَى الْعَزِيزِ الْغَفَّارِ

40.42. Vous m'incitez à renier Dieu et à Lui associer d'obscures divinités dont je n'ai aucune connaissance, alors que moi, je veux vous conduire vers le Tout-Puissant, l'Indulgent par excellence.

40.42 . Ye call me to disbelieve in Allah and ascribe unto Him as partners that whereof I have no knowledge , while I call you unto the Mighty , the Forgiver .

40.42. TadAAoonanee li-akfura biAllahi waoshrika bihi ma laysa lee bihi AAilmun waana adAAookum ila alAAazeezi alghaffari

40.43.لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدْعُونَنِي إِلَيْهِ لَيْسَ لَهُ دَعْوَةٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَأَنَّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ هُمْ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ

40.43. Nul doute que les divinités que vous m'invitez à adorer ne détiennent aucun pouvoir ni dans ce monde ni dans l'autre, que c'est vers Dieu que se fera notre retour et que les outranciers seront les hôtes de l'Enfer.

40.43 . Assuredly that whereunto ye call me hath no claim in the world or in the Hereafter , and our return will be unto Allah , and the prodigals will be owners of the fire .

40.43. La jarama annama tadAAoonanee ilayhi laysa lahu daAAwatun fee alddunya wala fee al-akhirati waanna maraddana ila Allahi waanna almusrifeena hum as-habu alnnari

40.44.فَسَتَذْكُرُونَ مَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ وَأُفَوِّضُ أَمْرِي إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ

40.44. Vous vous souviendrez certainement un jour de mes paroles. Quant à moi, je remets mon sort à Dieu, car Dieu a une parfaite connaissance de Ses créatures.»

40.44 . And ye will remember what I say unto you . I confide my cause unto Allah . Lo! Allah is Seer of ( His ) slaves .

40.44. Fasatathkuroona ma aqoolu lakum waofawwidu amree ila Allahi inna Allaha baseerun bialAAibadi

40.45.فَوَقَاهُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا وَحَاقَ بِآلِ فِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ الْعَذَابِ

40.45. Dieu préserva ce croyant des embûches que les impies lui tendaient, et c'est sur les partisans de Pharaon que s'abattit le châtiment le plus dur,

40.45 . So Allah warded off from him the evils which they plotted , while a dreadful doom encompassed Pharaoh ' s folk .

40.45. Fawaqahu Allahu sayyi-ati ma makaroo wahaqa bi-ali firAAawna soo-o alAAathabi
