40.56.إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ إِن فِي صُدُورِهِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِبَالِغِيهِ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

40.56. En vérité, ceux qui, sans aucune preuve, discutent des versets de Dieu n'agissent que par une ambition qu'ils ne pourront jamais satisfaire. Implore donc la protection de Dieu, car Il entend tout et voit tout !

40.56 . Lo! those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah without a warrant having come unto them , there is naught else in their breasts save pride which they will never attain . So take thou refuge in Allah . Lo! He , only He , is the Hearer , the Seer .

40.56. Inna allatheena yujadiloona fee ayati Allahi bighayri sultanin atahum in fee sudoorihim illa kibrun ma hum bibaligheehi faistaAAith biAllahi innahu huwa alssameeAAu albaseeru

40.57.لَخَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

40.57. La création des hommes est bien peu de chose comparée à celle des Cieux et de la Terre, mais la plupart des hommes ne s'en doutent guère.

40.57 . Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind ; but most of mankind know not .

40.57. Lakhalqu alssamawati waal-ardi akbaru min khalqi alnnasi walakinna akthara alnnasi la yaAAlamoona

40.58.وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَى وَالْبَصِيرُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَلَا الْمُسِيءُ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

40.58. L'aveugle et celui qui voit ne sont pas comparables, pas plus qu'on ne saurait comparer les croyants qui font le bien aux injustes portés au mal, mais bien peu de gens y réfléchissent.

40.58 . And the blind man and the seer are not equal , neither are those who believe and do good works ( equal with ) the evil doer . Little do ye reflect!

40.58. Wama yastawee al-aAAma waalbaseeru waallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati wala almusee-o qaleelan ma tatathakkaroona

40.59.إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَآتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

40.59. En vérité, la fin du monde est un fait incontestable, et cependant la plupart des hommes n'y croient point.

40.59 . Lo! the Hour is surely coming , there is no doubt thereof ; yet most of mankind believe not .

40.59. Inna alssaAAata laatiyatun la rayba feeha walakinna akthara alnnasi la yu/minoona

40.60.وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ

40.60. Votre Seigneur a dit : «Implorez-Moi, Je vous exaucerai ! Mais ceux qui, par orgueil, refusent de M'adorer entreront tête basse en Enfer.»

40.60 . And your Lord hath said : Pray unto me and I will hear your prayer . Lo! those who scorn My service , they will enter hell , disgraced .

40.60. Waqala rabbukumu odAAoonee astajib lakum inna allatheena yastakbiroona AAan AAibadatee sayadkhuloona jahannama dakhireena
