46.16.أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ نَتَقَبَّلُ عَنْهُمْ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا وَنَتَجاوَزُ عَن سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ فِي أَصْحَابِ الْجَنَّةِ وَعْدَ الصِّدْقِ الَّذِي كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ

46.16. Voilà ceux dont Nous agréerons les œuvres les plus méritoires en passant outre sur leurs méfaits. Ils feront partie des hôtes du Paradis, selon la promesse sincère qui leur a été faite.

46.16 . Those are they from whom We accept the best of what they do , and overlook their evil deeds . ( They are ) among the owners of the Garden . This is the true promise which they were promised ( in the world ) .

46.16. Ola-ika allatheena nataqabbalu AAanhum ahsana ma AAamiloo wanatajawazu AAan sayyi-atihim fee as-habi aljannati waAAda alssidqi allathee kanoo yooAAadoona

46.17.وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَّكُمَا أَتَعِدَانِنِي أَنْ أُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ الْقُرُونُ مِن قَبْلِي وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيثَانِ اللَّهَ وَيْلَكَ آمِنْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَيَقُولُ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

46.17. Celui qui dit à ses parents : «Fi de vous ! Allez-vous encore me promettre que je renaîtrai de mon tombeau alors que tant de générations ont passé avant moi sans revenir à la vie?» Et pendant que ses parents lui disent en implorant Dieu en sa faveur : «Malheureux ! Aie foi en Dieu ! La promesse de Dieu est vraie !», lui insiste : «Ce ne sont là que de vieilles fables !»

46.17 . And whoso saith unto his parents : Fie upon you both! Do ye threaten me that I shall be brought forth ( again ) when generations before me have passed away? And they twain cry unto Allah for help ( and say ) : Woe unto thee! Believe! Lo! the promise of Allah is true . But he saith : This is naught save fables of the men of old :

46.17. Waallathee qala liwalidayhi offin lakuma ataAAidaninee an okhraja waqad khalati alquroonu min qablee wahuma yastagheethani Allaha waylaka amin inna waAAda Allahi haqqun fayaqoolu ma hatha illa asateeru al-awwaleena

46.18.أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ

46.18. Voilà ceux contre qui se réalisera Notre arrêt, comme il a été réalisé contre de précédentes communautés parmi les djinns et les hommes. Et ce seront ceux-là les perdants.

46.18 . Such are those on whom the Word concerning nations of the Jinn and mankind which have passed away before them hath effect . Lo! they are the losers .

46.18. Ola-ika allatheena haqqa AAalayhimu alqawlu fee umamin qad khalat min qablihim mina aljinni waal-insi innahum kanoo khasireena

46.19.وَلِكُلٍّ دَرَجَاتٌ مِّمَّا عَمِلُوا وَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

46.19. Chacun d'eux sera classé selon les œuvres qu'il aura accomplies, afin que Dieu récompense leurs actes en toute justice et sans qu'aucun d'eux ne soit lésé.

46.19 . And for all there will be ranks from what they do , that He may pay them for their deeds! and they will not be wronged .

46.19. Walikullin darajatun mimma AAamiloo waliyuwaffiyahum aAAmalahum wahum la yuthlamoona

46.20.وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَلَى النَّارِ أَذْهَبْتُمْ طَيِّبَاتِكُمْ فِي حَيَاتِكُمُ الدُّنْيَا وَاسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِهَا فَالْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَفْسُقُونَ

46.20. Le jour où les impies seront conduits à l'Enfer, il leur sera dit : «Vous avez gaspillé vos dons les plus précieux en votre vie terrestre, et en avez joui pleinement. Aujourd'hui, subissez donc ce supplice infamant en punition de l'orgueil dont vous vous enfliez injustement et des excès auxquels vous vous êtes livrés sur Terre.»

46.20 . And on the day when those who disbelieve are exposed to the Fire ( it will be said ) : Ye squandered your good things in the life of the world and sought comfort therein . Now this day ye are rewarded with the doom of ignominy because ye were disdainful in the land without a right and because ye used to transgress .

46.20. Wayawma yuAAradu allatheena kafaroo AAala alnnari athhabtum tayyibatikum fee hayatikumu alddunya waistamtaAAtum biha faalyawma tujzawna AAathaba alhooni bima kuntum tastakbiroona fee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqi wabima kuntum tafsuqoona
