40 K is not a bad one but it depends on what you do , experiance ect ....
Plus its a finacial crisis so taking it all into account you could decide

It depends on what you have to do for it: clap:
though Dorset is nice area but very expensive too.
If you are a Doctor, Accountant, MI5 Policeman, pilot that is very low and have to re-negotiate with them.

Between 30K and 40K is a big difference. And it is basic or on target earning OTE? Be more precise Forlan95 so we can check the market for you and give you an idea
Bisaha anyway

So how much exactly did they offer you? 30-40 that's quite vague..the difference between 30 and 40 is huge.

I can't really tell you if that's adequate to your qualifications and experience but you have to bear in mind that accomodation is very expensive in England, even more in the south...so before saying yes to any offer, make a little search on houses to have an idea what percentage of your salary will go to rent (usually quite a lot unless you're prepared to share). The other thing is travel, again trains cost a massive fortune so you might consider living close to your job or driving. Once you make your calculation + taxes, you'll see what you're left with and if you're happy then go ahead. England has got many opportunities and is a wonderful country to live in but if you're going to struggle and can't make ends meet it's not worth it.
