The US Midterm elections have brought a new trend to the political scene in the country. Americans elected the nation’s first Muslim congresswomen, Democrats, people of color and LGBT politicians.
In his Green March speech, delivered on Tuesday, King Mohammed VI called on Algeria to join the creation of «a political mechanism for dialogue and consultation». The Sovereign stressed that Morocco is open to all initiatives «Algeria may want to offer in this regard».
Capping oil prices, a plan initiated by the government in July, «is not an urgent matter» as oil companies have dropped their prices, said General Affairs Minister Lahcen Daoudi on Monday.
Saudi Prince Turki bin Bindar was deported by Morocco in 2015 to Saudi Arabia, through an Interpol warrant, confirmed the Moroccan Ministry of Justice. Commenting on the decision, Interpol says it hasn’t issued a red notice or diffusion for the Saudi official.
The opportunities offered by the Mauritanian market and its openness to Africa is appealing to Algeria. Moroccans, on the other hand, are interested too in the neighboring country.
