Republic of Burkina Faso opens consulate general in Dakhla

The Republic of Burkina Faso opened a consulate general in Dakhla on Friday.

The inauguration ceremony of this consulate was co-chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad Nasser Bourita and his Burkina Faso's counterpart Alpha Barry.

During the same day, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau opened each on Friday a consulate general in Dakhla.

This is the 5th consular representation inaugurated in Dakhla in 2020, after the Consulate General of The Gambia, opened on January 7, the Consulate General of Guinea, which began to offer its services on the 17th of the same month, the Consulate General of the Republic of Djibouti (February 28) and the Consulate General of the Republic of Liberia (March 12).
