Two flights operated by Air Algeria will be repatriating, Monday and Thursday, twelve Algerian students stranded in Morocco, reads a press release by the Algerian Embassy in Morocco.

The two flights will also repatriate other Algerian citizens stranded in Morocco. «They can buy their plane tickets at the Air Algerian agency in Casablanca and at the company’s slaes counter at the airport on the day of departure», the same source explained.

The would-be returnees will have to present a negative PCR test carried less than 72 hours before departure.

The twelve Algerian students stranded in the transit zone of the airport were turned back on January 11 from Canada on board a Royal Air Maroc flight to Casablanca. The authorities of the Canada Border Services Agency had denied them entry to the Canadian territory. Last week, the students called for their repatriation.
