473 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 460,144.
761 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 435,686.
35 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,977. 8 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 5 in Souss-Massa, 6 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 1 in Marrakech-Safi, 7 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 2 in Fès-Meknes, 4 in the Oriental region, 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun and one in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 16,481 active cases, including 930 in critical conditions. 67 of them are on ventilators.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 113 cases: 32 in Sale, 27 in Kénitra, 17 in Skhirat-Témara, 12 in Sidi Slimane, 11 in Rabat, 10 in Khémisset and 4 in Sidi Kacem. Casablanca-Settat follows with 107 cases: 87 in Casablanca, 8 in Berrechid, 7 in Settat, 3 in Médiouna and 2 in El Jadida.
Souss-Massa recorded 47 cases: 27 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 10 in Taroudant, 7 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 2 in Tata and 1 in Tiznit. Oriental region recorded 42 cases: 16 in Nador, 9 in Oujda-Angad, 4 in Taourirt, 3 in Berkane and 3 in Jerada.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 17 new cases: 7 in Marrakech, 7 Safi, 1 in Essaouira, 1 in Chichaoua and 1 in Kelâa des Sraghna. In Drâa-Tafilalet, 10 cases were recorded: 8 in Ouarzazate and 2 in Zagora. Beni Mellal-Khénifra also counted 10 new infections: 7 in Beni Mellal, 2 in Khouribga and 1 in Azilal.
Guelmim-Oued Noun confirmed 9 cases: 8 in Tan Tan and 1 in Guelmim. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 7 cases, all in Boujdour. Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab confirmed 5 cases, all to Oued-Ed Dahab.
