337 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 466,626.
1,031 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 443,472.
22 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,172. 7 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 6 in the Oriental, 2 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 2 in Fès-Meknès, 1 in Marrakech-Safi, 1 in Laâyoune -Sakia El Hamra and 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 14,982 active cases, including 767 in critical conditions. 59 of them are on ventilators.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma recorded 69 infections: 22 in Tanger-Assilah, 20 in Al Hoceima, 9 in Tétouan, 9 in Ouazzane, 4 in Larache, 3 in Chefchaouen and 2 in M'diq-Fnideq. Then comes Casablanca-Settat with 56 new cases: 47 in Casablanca, 4 in Nouaceur, 2 in Berrechid, 1 in El Jadida, 1 in Mediouna and 1 in Settat.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 52 cases: 21 in Salé, 17 in Kénitra, 10 in Rabat and 4 in Skhirat-Témara. 52 new infections recorded in Souss-Massa: 30 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 14 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 7 in Tiznit and 1 in Tata.
The Oriental region recorded 52 cases: 19 in Berkane, 17 in Nador, 7 in Oujda-Angad, 7 in Driouch and 2 in Taourirt. Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 13 infections: 7 in Midelt, 3 in Zagora, 2 in Errachidia and 1 in Ouarzazate.
12 confirmed cases in Fès-Meknes (5 in Fez, 5 in Meknes and 2 in Safrou), 9 in Marrakech-Safi (7 in Marrakech and 2 in Safi) and 8 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
7 infections were confirmed in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (6 in Boujdour and 1 in Laâyoune), 5 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (3 in Khouribga, 1 in Beni Mellal and 1 in Fqih Bensaleh) and 2 in Tan Tan (Guelmim-Oued Noun).
