Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, on Tuesday held talks through videoconference with Spanish minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Arancha Gonzalez Laya.
They highlighted the resilience of bilateral relations. Regarding the High-Level Meeting, which will be held as soon as health conditions improve, the two ministers agreed to strengthen sectoral cooperation in several areas, including in the economic, cultural and educational areas.
The two officials also called for seizing the opportunities offered in the post-Covid context as strategic partners and capitalizing on the complementarity between the two countries.
Talks between the two ministers also focused on regional issues of common interest in the Maghreb, the Sahel and the Euro-Mediterranean area.
