The decision was announced on the Facebook page of the National Airports Office (ONDA). The ban has entered into effect since March 15 and will be maintained until April 10. Passengers from said countries trying to enter the Kingdom through other countries are also concerned.

Morocco has already suspended flights to and from around thirty countries because of the new variants of the coronavirus. These countries are Poland, Norway, Finland, Greece, Algeria, Egypt, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Sweden, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, United Kingdom and Brazil.
