Local authorities in the city of Dakhla decided, Monday, to implement a total lockdown in the city, after discovering 40 new cases of the UK strain of Covid-19. Most of these cases were discovered among students of the National School of Business and Management.
And local media sources reported that the authorities of the Dakhla region decided to impose a lockdown in the city within the next 72 hours.
The precautionary measures taken are to prohibit night movement, except in special cases, to close restaurants, cafes, shops and major shops, to prevent public or private parties and gatherings, in addition to banning travel to and from Dakhla.
