The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, defended the «good relations» between the EU and Morocco. He urged the two parties to preserve and maintain these relations, particularly when it comes to the management of migration through «cooperation and dialogue».
Quoted by Europa press, Borrell also said that the European Union has a «very solid and strategic» partnership with Morocco, which has been strengthened after many years of good cooperation.
«At times like these, we must continue to call for cooperation», he added, after more than 8,000 migrants arrived in Ceuta.
