Morocco : Reopening of cultural facilities and reception halls

The Moroccan government has decided to allow activities and gatherings in closed spaces starting from June 1, with the reopening of cinemas, theaters, cultural centers, libraries, museums and reception halls.

However, this is a gradual reopening that is conditioned for the moment by hosting a maximum of 50% of the capacity of each space, without exceeding in any case 100 people. An authorization granted by the local authorities is required in case this number is exceeded. These measures also include limiting the capacity of public transport to 75%.

The government has also decided to allow reception and wedding halls to operate at less than 50% of their capacity and provided that the number of participants does not exceed 100 people, and to allow access to beaches, while respecting social distancing. Swimming pools are open for the reception of less than 50% of their capacity.
