The Moroccan Navy successfully rescued, Sunday, 141 individuals attempting to reach the Canary Islands, according to a statement.
The group, including 3 women and 2 minors, encountered unfavorable weather conditions, necessitating a 15-hour assistance and rescue operation.
Departing from the Mauritanian coast on February 10th, the individuals were provided necessary medical care upon arrival at Dakhla port. They were then handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for routine administrative procedures.
