Tottenham Hotspur eye Moroccan midfielder Amir Richardson for transfer

English club Tottenham Hotspur is eyeing Moroccan international Amir Richardson, according to French media. Foot Mercato revealed that the 22-year-old midfielder, who played a key role for the Moroccan national team at the Olympic Games, is being closely monitored by Tottenham Hotspur.

«His performance in recent games has been followed with interest by the English club», the website said, adding that Tottenham Hotspur has included his name on a list of potential players to strengthen their midfield.

According to Onze Mondial, Richardson has demonstrated his midfield prowess since the Olympics, alongside other talents such as Targhalline Oussama.

Richardson is under contract with Reims until June 2027, but «a convincing performance against Spain could accelerate Tottenham Hotspur’s efforts to secure his services».
