On Tuesday, August 6, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) announced the opening of its new PSG Academy in Casablanca, set to launch in September. «This initiative aims to extend PSG's training methodology to Moroccan youth, further strengthening the club's sporting ties with Morocco», the Parisian club stated.

Located in Tamaris, «this state-of-the-art academy will be equipped with several soccer pitches and will welcome boys and girls aged 4 to 18, offering first-class training and facilities». «The local development of the project is being led by Daoud Boulanger, a French trainer with extensive experience in Morocco», the release notes.

«It is a great honor to offer a project of this quality to Moroccan youth. Sharing the French training culture with these young soccer enthusiasts is an immense source of pride», Boulanger said in the release. «This initiative underscores our commitment to excellence in youth training and brings us even closer to our passionate supporters in this football-loving country», added Nadia Benmokhtar, Brand Development Manager.

In the region, PSG boasts the loyalty of 18.6 million fans, representing 12% of the club's worldwide total of 214 million. «The establishment of the PSG Academy in Casablanca strengthens this bond and highlights PSG's commitment to nurturing soccer talent in Morocco», the release emphasizes.

Looking ahead, the PSG Academy aims to further expand in Morocco, potentially launching additional centers or programs.
