Morocco and Pakistan kicked off the third edition of their joint bilateral military exercise on Monday, aimed at counter-terrorism training and enhancing professional skills, according to a statement from Pakistan’s military media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), as reported by Pakistani media.
The opening ceremony was held at the Special Operations School in Cherat, a military training facility located in the hilly terrain of the Nowshera district in northwestern Pakistan.
Named Pak-Morocco Joint Bilateral Military Exercise-2025, the operation brings together Pakistan’s elite Special Services Group (SSG) and Moroccan special forces.
This joint military exercise is meant to promote interoperability, share tactical knowledge, and strengthen the longstanding defense ties between the two countries.
It is worth noting tha Morocco and Pakistan extended their cooperation into the aerospace sector. Moroccan Air Force Inspector, Major General Mohammed Gadih, visited Pakistan to explore new avenues for collaboration. During the visit, the Chief of the Pakistan Air Force reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to providing basic and tactical training to Moroccan personnel.
