The Public Prosecution at the Primary Court in Marrakech decided on Monday to release Algerian artist Reda Taliani on temporary bail, set at one thousand dirhams, following the conclusion of his preliminary detention period, according to local media sources.
This decision came after his arrest at the end of the week due to a brawl in one of the city's neighborhoods, which prompted the initiation of a preliminary investigation ordered by the Public Prosecution.
Taliani faces charges related to mutual violence, public intoxication, and incitement to prostitution—charges that have sparked widespread controversy on social media. Investigations are still ongoing, pending the completion of the case and its presentation to the judiciary.
