Heatwave hits Morocco : Temperatures to reach 42°C Thursday and Friday

A heatwave is forecast for Thursday and Friday across several provinces of the Kingdom, with temperatures expected to range between 38°C and 42°C, according to an «orange» alert issued by the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).

The affected provinces include Rabat, Nouaceur, Settat, Sidi Slimane, Sidi Kacem, Khémisset, Fès, Meknès, Chichaoua, Marrakech, Rehamna, Youssoufia, Béni Mellal, Fquih Ben Saleh, Aousserd, Oued Ed-Dahab, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Tata, Taroudant, and El Kalaâ des Sraghna, the DGM added.
