On June 11, the State Secretariat for Foreign Trade held a meeting in Casablanca to check on the progress of the 2025–2027 trade program. Omar Hejira, the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, led the meeting, which included representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s regional offices, ASMEX, CGEM, and the insurance sector.

Following royal guidance, the program aims to make foreign trade a major driver of growth and job creation. By 2027, the plan is to add 400 new exporters every year, boost exports by 80 billion dirhams, and create 76,000 new jobs.

To help achieve these goals, regional foreign trade offices have been set up in all 12 regions of the country. These offices support companies with export potential by guiding them through the process and offering training.

Starting June 16, a new export insurance program will launch, in partnership with the Central Reinsurance Company. This will help Moroccan exporters reach new markets, especially across Africa.

Also launching on June 16 is TijarIA, a digital platform that gives businesses 24/7 access to important documents and personalized help powered by artificial intelligence.
