Moroccan security forces have successfully located Denise Zaksongo, an Italian lawyer of African descent, who vanished at Casablanca Airport on August 19 during her trip from Italy to Burkina Faso. Her Italian husband, a doctor at Catania Hospital, has confirmed that she is safe and currently reunited with her family in Ouagadougou, as reported by Spanish media.

Zaksongo, who once held the position of Deputy Director at the «Cara di Mineo» reception center, went missing after her last conversation with her husband on Tuesday morning. His growing concern led him to file an official report with Italian security authorities and alert the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry subsequently coordinated with the Italian consulate in Casablanca and the embassy in Rabat to address the situation.

Her husband revealed that she was discovered at the airport in a state of exhaustion and confusion, having lost her bag and phone. It is suspected that she may have experienced a health issue related to a hypoglycemic episode.
