This visit by General Gadih follows recent international reports suggesting that the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) might acquire 32 F-35 A aircraft. According to these reports, Israel has approved the Moroccan order. «During the latest edition of the IDEX (International Defence Exhibition) in Abu Dhabi, held in February, representatives from Lockheed Martin reportedly showcased the capabilities of this fifth-generation aircraft to a Moroccan military delegation», the sources indicate.
