The Istiqlal Party's Executive Committee is urging young Moroccans to actively participate in constructive and responsible dialogue and public debate through institutional channels and public media. This call to action aims to address pressing demands and devise practical and actionable solutions.
In a statement issued Wednesday evening, following a meeting led by the party's Secretary General, Nizar Baraka, the Committee underscored that the youth's calls for social rights and enhanced healthcare services are both legitimate and in line with the government's major healthcare reform initiatives.
The Executive Committee aligns itself with the youth's belief in the legitimacy of these social demands. It has also called for immediate action to tackle governance issues within the public health sector, improve reception facilities, enhance intervention efficiency, and elevate service quality.
Moreover, the Committee expressed strong condemnation of the severe incidents that have overshadowed these protests, including acts of violence, vandalism, damage to public and private property, and assaults on law enforcement officers.
The party body also denounced any actions that threaten public security and order, citizen safety, and social stability.
