The Moroccan under-17 national team has clinched a spot in the FIFA World Cup quarter-finals, triumphing over Mali with a thrilling 3-2 victory in the round of 16 match held on Tuesday at Field No. 7 in the Aspire Zone, Doha.
The Atlas Cubs' goals came courtesy of Ziad Baha, who scored in the 29th minute, and Ismail El Aoud, who struck twice in the 45+11th and 66th minutes. Mali's response came from Raymond Bomba, who converted a penalty in the 45+6th minute, and Seydou Dembélé, who scored in the 90+6th minute.
Morocco is set to face Brazil in the quarter-finals of the tournament this Friday at the Aspire Zone in Doha.
