The Moroccan national team secured a decisive 3-1 win against the Comoros Islands at the Khalifa Stadium, marking a strong start in Group B of the Arab Cup currently underway in Qatar.

Just five minutes into the match, Soufiane Bouftini opened the scoring with a powerful and precise shot that left the Comoros goalkeeper helpless. The Atlas Lions maintained relentless pressure on their opponents' defense.

By the 11th minute, striker Tarek Tissoudali doubled Morocco's lead with a clinical finish from inside the penalty area. As the first half drew to a close, Karim El Berkaoui added a third with a well-placed header during stoppage time.

The second half saw a shift in momentum as Comoros began to press the Moroccan defense. In the 56th minute, a misfortunate own goal by Mohamed Boulacsoute narrowed the scoreline to 3-1.

With this triumph, Morocco now sits atop Group B, as they await the outcome of the Oman vs. Saudi Arabia clash later today.
